At first glance, this site looks like a typical Real Estate Broker’s web site, showing current offerings, etc. However, Mr. Dorsey, who specializes in New England “antique homes,” has added two significant features: 1) a selection of his past sales, i.e., a resumé of sorts; plus 2) an informative historical review of New England  homes, organized by period. These homes range from the Balch House, one of the earliest frame houses built in America (1636-79), to “Mid-Century Modern” homes. North Shore Abode is a great resource for people traveling around Boston’s historic North Shore. By visiting his site (works fine on a smartphone), they’ll be able to place these fascinating homes in context.
